The Royal Marine Reserves are a commando trained reserve organisation dedicated to the support and augmentation of the regular Royal Marines. It has detachments in both Manchester and Birmingham and offers opportunities to serve across the globe and attain the coveted green beret. Men can learn the trade of the parachutist, landing-craftsman, heavy weapons operator or reconnaissance leader and each volunteer will learn much about determination and leadership whilst being well paid.
