Sudley, Liverpool's hidden gem, is unique as a Liverpool Victorian ship owners house where the art collection is displayed in its original setting. Works on show include paintings by Landseer and Turner, major pre-Raphaelite pictures and a group of 18th-century portraits by Gainsborough, Reynolds, Romney and Lawrence. Closed for refurbishment until autumn 2006.
